30. Has God revealed himself at all? Can I get to know God?

 God you asked? He is so good and good to us that he has revealed himself. He has gotten known to us. In his eternal love to us. By means of words and things that happened, he revealed to us what he is like. 

In his son Jesus Christ – true God and true man – he has told us all he had to tell us. For example that there is one single God, yet three Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. 

And he lets us entertain ourselves with him, for we can talk to and with him at prayer, and all day long, also through our everyday work and our rest. And all this with his grace and help – otherwise we cannot address him at all. Prayer is but a gift to us his children. And prayer may be made absolutely everyplace: at work, of course at church, with my family, when playing tennis, when having a beer with my friends, whenever we exist. 

Furthermore we can participate in his life, by his grace. And in his inner life he is three Persons, like I said before. 

How could I explain? You know Alexander the Great? Well, he was a warrior and conquered all an empire. He defeated King Darius of Persia, which may seem so simple, yet it’s not so at all. 

So as to gain Persian people to himself he got dressed in the Persian wise, and thus he was loved and appreciated by those people. And obviously he could put off that disguise or clothes whenever he wished. Well, God himself has taken our flesh, I mean he has become man and thus he’s true God and true man. Just because he loved us and loves us. Since then the second Person of the Most Holy Trinity - the Son - is thus, true God and true man. Jesus Christ then is one person, yet with two natures, divine and human. Have a nice day.

18. You may have had that feeling of plenitude after a movie

  As you have already seen, in this blog I write also about our father God, who has dad and mom’s love to us. To each one of us.  And for me – and many people alike – his existence is almost evident, for we firmly believe in him and talk to him – and with him – at any moment.  It’s so also when you think that he exists, because somebody must have made all this, this wonderful world, and each person. And the universe, which is unfolding itself on NASA’s last discoveries.  Also because we may have seen John Ford’s The Searchers (1956) and there ensues the idea of one God, after each person’s thirst for plenitude and happiness, and family.  When you admit his existence, even more, when you treat him personally, well, then, everything makes sense, and you may feel satisfied. 13. Where is happiness, is it far from here?

  What is a man, a woman? You are, I am what we do, what we think of, what we read, what we love. I am free so ultimately I am what I do.  And what I do in a repeated way constitutes a habit. And I can do good things, or otherwise evil things. I can build up virtues or otherwise vices. I can be an honest, hard-working, loving, attentive, generous, committed, friendly man, or otherwise all the contrary. Well, also I do good and bad things, as any person does.  You can find about this in old Aristotle, or in more modern Jutta Burggraf. A happy man or a happy woman are the ones that have virtues, that act in accordance with human dignity, and we are (let’s not forget it) sons and daughters of God.  And we can let God lead our boat, the one each person is.
