29. You just tell me we can talk with God? How is it?

 We may be hectic and so busy, you know, with everyday’s stuff, plus my kids, my work, etc. 

And what about God? The devil tries we would be so immersed in worldly stuff that we don’t remember we have a soul, and our loving father God loves us infinitely. 

You know, we can be busy for example with our work, but also we can carry it out as service to the community and the singular persons, even we can contemplate God and work at the same time, turning our dear work into prayer. All that with God’s help and grace, of course. 

And can we talk about him? What is he like? We can approximate him by thinking of the perfections we find in our world and in singular persons. And he is beyond all that. 

You know, the best thing to get so close to God is by talking to him; moreover, talking with him, for he responds, and that is not something extreme or out of every man’s reach. It’s regular stuff, everyday’s stuff. 

When we make prayer, we get to start knowing God, and quite often you will feel his presence, albeit it’s not a matter of mere feelings and sentiments. 

When we have the experience of God, then we can say how wonderful he is. 

I also mean that we cannot seek God for just feeling well – we have been created to know and love him, and to give him glory, and in that way we will be so happy. He has created us men and women (and angels) because he wished somebody else be happy. And the Church has been wished to just take us to heaven after this wonderful life – though with pain, anyway. And Pope Leo XIV is there just to lead you to heaven, for he is the servant of the servants of God. 

Come on, you reader, you might enter a church and thus you will find him, as some people’s experience tells us. Have a nice day.

13. Where is happiness, is it far from here?

  What is a man, a woman? You are, I am what we do, what we think of, what we read, what we love. I am free so ultimately I am what I do.  And what I do in a repeated way constitutes a habit. And I can do good things, or otherwise evil things. I can build up virtues or otherwise vices. I can be an honest, hard-working, loving, attentive, generous, committed, friendly man, or otherwise all the contrary. Well, also I do good and bad things, as any person does.  You can find about this in old Aristotle, or in more modern Jutta Burggraf. A happy man or a happy woman are the ones that have virtues, that act in accordance with human dignity, and we are (let’s not forget it) sons and daughters of God.  And we can let God lead our boat, the one each person is. 18. You may have had that feeling of plenitude after a movie

  As you have already seen, in this blog I write also about our father God, who has dad and mom’s love to us. To each one of us.  And for me – and many people alike – his existence is almost evident, for we firmly believe in him and talk to him – and with him – at any moment.  It’s so also when you think that he exists, because somebody must have made all this, this wonderful world, and each person. And the universe, which is unfolding itself on NASA’s last discoveries.  Also because we may have seen John Ford’s The Searchers (1956) and there ensues the idea of one God, after each person’s thirst for plenitude and happiness, and family.  When you admit his existence, even more, when you treat him personally, well, then, everything makes sense, and you may feel satisfied.
